Trouble - On Hold

Maxine was just a normal girl. She went to a normal school. She lived in a normal house. She had normal friends and did normal everyday things, but then her world shifted. Her parents died in a car accident leaving her to live with only her grandmother. She moved half way across the world to Georgia leaving everything she knew behind.

That was a few years ago. She now has one friend, Ally. She decided a long time ago she didn't want to have too many friends because she could only trust one person with all of her secrets. Ally was a real party too. She was all Max ever needed. But then her world changes once more when Jaxon Monroe is forced into her life.

Jaxon just moved in next door. He's staying with Anna, his grandmother and Maxine's Nana's best friend. Anna and Maxine's Nana expect them to get along. Nana wants Max to befriend Jaxon and help him make a new life there. But can Max pick up his broken pieces and put them back together again? Or is Jaxon just too much trouble?
