Every night, at one of the numerous beaches in Yokohama, Dazai takes a walk there, watching the starry sky. But one night, he comes across an unusual being. A siren, Chuuya. As they get to know each other better, an unexpected bond starts to form between the two. But how can a heart broken siren and a boy with a broken soul love?

This story was heavily inspired from the webcomic "Siren's Lament", that you can find on webtoon! It's a great story, go check it out!

After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle.
