Elle se passe à Londres, dans un temps non définie mais qui serait plus dans les années 1970.
Le héro se nomme Harry Harranne, ancien policier et homme d'affaire, à qui va arriver plusieurs péripéties, qui au premier abord ne semble pas avoir de lient mais qui en fin de compte, sont très proche.
