The Ring (Paultin Seppa Story)

Normal. That's what it's like for Human Bard Paultin Seppa and his wife Sandra. Paultin performs to get money to keep up their rent, Sandra helping in the town when needed, whether it be volunteering at little shacks, or helping families in need.
But what happens when the town suddenly goes into lock down mode? That nobody can leave the town until the threat is resolved? A threat that the guards will not repeat what it is? Confusion, panic, maybe.
What the townspeople don't know..is that only one thing can stop it..a thing that is highly cursed, highly destructive, perhaps even deadly, wishing harm upon anybody who has it. A thing that is forbidden to fall into the wrong hands.
Somebody has it..will they wear it to stop the threat? Or will they abide by the rules?
