Jackson Miller is a 17-year-old boy who turns out to be a little different from other boys at his school and his town. After seeing a movie, he was bitten by a ravenous "Dog" while taking a stroll down a forest that Stephanie decided would be a scenic route and now holds inside his body a curse. Miller strives to be the best he can be, but he only does it with his arrogance and his rude behavior. Stephanie pulls him aside after they escape the attack from the beast and suggest that it was perhaps a werewolf. He doesn't believe in mythic creatures and anything magical, however, and Miller claims that he knows two things for certain, that he's going to be his normal self and that there are no such things called werewolves. Unfortunately for Miller, things go south after that horrible night. Urges that are inhuman, actions that are extremely rude, even by his standards. Very territorial, very hostile. Horrible choices that a teenager like himself shouldn't be doing, but ends up doing anyway. Everything goes array when he gets into a fight with the school bully, and viciously rips pieces of his skin from his arm. With his three friends: Michael, Stephanie, and Fedrick; Jackson Miller soon finds out during a slumber party that there is such a thing, and that they'll hopefully be the center cure of this disease and bring him back to normal before the claws of faith rip into him and make him something he isn't. Jackson Miller now finds himself racing against the clock, a month before the full moon becomes full to hopefully find a way to go back to normal. Will the teenage boy go back to normal, or will he suffer to live with the guilt of being unable to control such urges?
