Ashley had an amazing life. She had lots of friends, a great boyfriend, and her life was on track. She wasn't the most popular, but she didn't care about that. She just didn't want to be at the very bottom. Her life was perfect until an accident that left Ashley deaf. She wants her life to be the same, so she still goes back to school. All of her friends are gone except for two. Her boyfriend dumps her. She feels as if her life has gone to crap. So, she decides to stop talking. Her family does not know what to do, and neither do her friends. They try to get her to talk constantly, through her hands of course, but she refuses to. Not even writing on paper.

One day, Zonnique goes to a wild spring break party. The next day, she wakes up inside of a mental home. Her parents rule her "suicidal", placing her into a home for patients in need. But these patients are crazier than she thought. One by one, she is forced to face and deal with what these nurses call "people". However, what will happen when she's forced to face these facts? Will she become one of them, or will she stick to her MENTALITY?

Y/N has been diagnosed with mood swings, really bad ones. One day she is happy, the next it's like she is a completely different girl. This explains why people don't hang around with her much, they don't understand. That is until she meets 7 boys who change her life for the better.

A girl who is just trying to get over to mothers death well taking care of her younger brother and protecting him from her father. still always getting up and putting a smile on her face so no one knows the truth not even her two older sisters who are too rapped up in their own life to even realize they are close to losing their younger sister who is over her father's abuse and her bullies at school.
