Arthur grew up as the son of King Uther Pendragon, first a knight and then the crown prince of Camelot. He was the golden boy, everyone loved him. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but that all changed when Merlin came to town. Merlin grew up with a single mother in a small village. His skin was darker than his neighbors and his mothers. He came to Camelot to find work and to hide his gifts of magic. Merlin swept Arthur off his feet and into a life of adventure and battles.
The Secrets of Camelot, TSC, is a middle-grade retelling of the Arthurian legends, with LGBT and neurodivergent characters. It follows a young Prince Arthur growing up, discovering himself, and saving Camelot from ruin and destruction by both his enemies and his own people. With the help of his friends and lover.
