In the middle of the forest, far away from any human civilization, there's a hidden home. It usually reveals itself to those in need of sanctuary, and is named similarly.
All kinds appear there, creatures of every shape, size, and lifestyle. The gentle healer who lives there looks after them, reminding them of the two rules:
Anyone is welcome.
Do not fight each other.
There are quite a few dangerous creatures there, but they've never had a problem. The rules are enforced if necessary, but they hardly ever have to.
Then the lone wolf arrived.

*Completed* With their kingdom is falling apart and in debt, Prince Roman and Prince Remus head out to the Dark Forest with hope that they will find the Heart of Life. With the Heart, they would be able to save their kingdoms crops and pull the kingdom out of the dark days. However, within a few days of traveling through the forest, they are attacked and lost in the forest, with only a servant and knight for company. Mal, a dragon witch, lives in the forest with her two sons, Janus and Virgil. Though the three are powerful, Mal made enemies with the fae who have ever since been trying to kidnap Janus for revenge. Luckily, or maybe unfortunately, they ignore Virgil for the most part since he was adopted. When they cross paths with the humans, things get a bit... messy. I will display trigger warnings at the beginning of chapters. Characters belong to Thomas Sanders.
