Sofia "Ram" Ramirez is a twenty-one-year-old Mexican-American young woman who is also demigod. But the thing is, that is a harrowing secret she's kept hidden for the majority of her life. As long as her guildmates don't raise their suspicion, she can continue on living a peaceful life in her cozy city of post-apocalyptic San Antonio, Texas.

One day, someone close to her has mysteriously disappeared, which sends Ram into oblivion. Now, she faces two life-changing options: she must either reveal the truth about herself and save the person she loves most, or sit back in hopelessness and deny the person she is.
