I was sure the worst thing to ever happen to me would be being kidnapped, and sure, that was pretty bad. However, what was worse was being kidnapped, held captive for years, and then being auctioned off to the highest bidder. I thought maybe I had caught a little break when I found out that me and five other girls were being sold to royalty, but I should have known something about that wasn't right either. Under the cover of eternal darkness, and deep beneath the ground, was a whole world I never even dreamed existed in my wildest dreams. A Prince rose from the ashes of his palace and destroyed his enemies with intelligence and courage. He brought victory to his Kingdom, Archelaos, and rules it fairly, making all his subjects happy. So it seems. As the Prince becomes King he lives up to his title, The Great Phoenix. A great warrior of a King who yields both pen and sword. The future of the Kingdom is set, except for an heir. In other to produce an heir, the Kingdom of Archelaos is in need of a Queen. Not just any queen, but a queen who fits the King perfectly. A lady that will listen and not disobey her King, and produce a male heir for him while also standing by his side in perfection. A competition is set up where all the eligible ladies in the kingdom are to attend in order to find the best suitable for the King. Fifteen competitors are taking to the castle, to meet the great King in a chance to get him to fall in love. What happens when an outsider enters the competition? Deceptions? Treason? Murder? "You know, it's my job to eliminate spies." "Eliminate me huh? I'd like to see you try." I was surprised by my response, just as much as he was, and he raised one of his perfectly shaped eyebrows at me. "Is that a challenge?
