Sacrifice

As the young queen of a nation in the midst of war, Auriel Lomerthia bears the responsibility of protecting her subjects in both body and mind, using powers granted to her by the large crystal that most citizens of Araliann are born with embedded in their body. Though only she has the ability to control minds, an ability that may be for better than worse, something Auriel begins to learn in her journey as queen.
War looms. The enemy gathers on the border. No one can be trusted - not even Auriel's closest companions.
