He will stick with her through thick and thin, every since the first day they met. When you're unable to understand sarcasm and many facial expressions, life can be hard. But what's harder, living with that, or your best friend being like that? How far can a friendship be pushed when Ruth can have a panic attack set off by nearly anything, and Noah can be a teenage, sarcastic douchebag?

Beck is autistic and spends most of her life locked away in her own mind as she reads her collection of books to escape her abusive alcoholic father. (18+ violence, adult themes, bullying, harassment and other issues) Being Autistic myself I have put a lot of me in this book. I've exaggerated certain aspects for entertainment values but other than that this is how awkward I feel most of the time. I don't see many books by women who write about their experiences in a creative way to spread awareness in a fun and compassionate way. This is mine I guess.
