In the land of Archona, the divinity of the 4 Godstones is coming to an end. The 4 God-Kings who posses the stones are dying. The story of The 4 Kings takes place throughout all of Archona. To the northeast, in the lands known as the Golden Country, a quest for power pits two brothers against each other. In the northeast, in the Westerlands, the King in Black plots against the other Kings, and investigates a rumor of an Undead rising. In the southeast, in the vast, barren desert, a settlement battles the ever present raider threat. In the southwest, in the town of Silverton, students of the Silver Lord compete to be his successor.

The dragons of Drealite have lived in four separate mancers and rarely ever crossed. Each mancer has corresponding stones that haven't been disturbed for many generations, until Nightmare got hold of them in his talons. At this time, the Shadowmancers are threatening war on the Sunmancers, accusing them of the stones' disappearance. This caused the queens to turn to a prophecy starring four dragonlings who might just save them all. Nerve is one of the prophecy dragonlings, who has almost lived his entire life not knowing he has his talons in two mancers. While on the journey to restore peace on Drealite, he learns that not every dragon close to him can be fully trusted, and he cannot let his guard down. (I'm keeping this up for reminiscence reasons, my middle school self thanks you 😭)
