I paused mid-sip, lowering my cup as I looked at him-silent, but completely focused. He had my full attention. "When you weren't there," he began, his voice barely above a whisper, "it felt like the pod all over again. You were my oxygen... but, I couldn't reach you. And it was killing me." His words hit hard, and I felt my eyes begin to sting. I always knew my feelings for Fitz were strong... but I hadn't realized how deep his were too. Author's Note: Hey everyone! I started writing this story a few weeks after the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 finale. I kept thinking, Where could Jemma have gone? That one question sparked the entire idea. Eventually, I was drawn to one of the most iconic cities in the Marvel universe as the setting. I later realized others had similar theories or storylines-but just to be clear, everything I write comes from my own ideas and imagination. I don't copy or take from anyone else. This story leaves off just as Daisy and Simmons go into the frame work with an extraordinary return of a character. Daisy wakes up to robbie in bed at SHIELD base. What she is unaware of is that they became the directors of shield when mace stepped down to become a military expert. Hydra is still on top hating inhumans and in control of society. It is up to daisy to get him and the others to remember. Will relationships blossom or be rebuilt, maybe.Concluida
