Gadiel Thames Steele is the eldest son of Lord Irin Steele, and heir to the seat of Basindrift, one of the regions of Edrial, the country that encompasses the continent of Oron. Finding himself thrown into politics as a teenager, he was sworn by his father to be the squire and Lord Commander of the Silver Council, to the future king of Edrial, Rhamiel Viceriene. Little does he know his position is going to put himself in a position that is highly dangerous.
