Fifteen-year-old Claire Collins knows her life will practically end when she gets the news that she and her family is moving halfway across the US due to her dad getting a job promotion. She believes that this is the most unfortunate thing that has ever happened. But it turns out that moving was the best thing that happened to her. She is friends with the nicest people in her school and is asked out by one of the cutest boys on the block, named Carter. She suddenly thinks her life is perfect.

But after some time, her relationship with Carter starts to fade, and Claire has her eyes on someone else. The only thing is that it's on another girl.
