Sierra Rivera needs to be an engineer. Her father was a mechanic, and her grandfather was a mechanic, great-grandfather was on and so on. But she wanted to take it a step further. There was no purpose of taking a car apart and putting it back together if you couldn't improve it. A love for cars was not the only thing that ran through the family; hot tempers and lack of money was the trend. But Sierra knew that step by step, she would be different. If only she could convince her mother of that, who wants her in the kitchen with a dinner plate. But after high school graduation, she was an adult, and her family could not keep her from setting out into the world, but not for the lack of trying. Leaving New Mexico for Texas Tech University, was not as far as she wanted from her mother, but it would do. If it were not for her father's friend, she would not be stepping foot out of the taxi cab. She would have to make do with everything; including the co-ed dorms... *This is a MATURE book* It will contain: strong/graphic language, abuse, and violence
