Wonders of the Forest

Elliot is a 12-year-old girl who was given a mission by the Elders to look over a forest, as well as the mystical beings inside it. When small struggles challenge her, she gets through them with confidence and perseverance. However in this short story, she finds it hard to have confidence in herself and struggles to remain strong. In doing so, she risks she and the animals' lives, but also makes many mistakes. Self-confidence was what she had, but she struggles to find it now.
