This story is about a 14 year old girl who just lost her family, her "home". The Castle. Butchered, like a common animal, she knew she was next, so that's why she escaped. Forgiven but not forgotten, she fled with Jakob by her side. Something else caused her parents deaths, but she doesn't know what. I guess she's going to be along for the ride for a very long time...
