Daniel Howell is bullied at school, and home. His life is total hell. He is failing his classes and without good grades he'll never be able to get a good job and leave home. He can't see a way out and feels like he's drowning, entirely alone.
But he's wrong. When he meets Philip Lester something clicks between them. Phil shows him the brighter side of life and begins to earn his trust. But will be enough to save Dan? And the school bully has some tricks up his sleeve, will he manage to tear them apart?
