??? stood at the edge of the balcony gazing past the horizon. From a far distance the sound of police sirens could be heard.

Not a second later did she hear a voice threatening her. Could it be 𝖍𝖎𝖒? A shiver crept down her spine at the thought. Whomever was speaking carried the same gravel in his voice. A sudden jolt knocked her off balance and she could feel her feet leave the balcony floor as she tumbled over the railing. She closed her eyes as if capable of hiding from what was to come next.
