Another body fell at the hands of my sword, blood spattering the ground and my cloak. I looked down at my victim, laying lifeless and pale on the sand below my feet. His hair was messy, black curls wet with sweat and blood stuck to his face. A thin line of blood from a head injury trickled down his broad, tan nose. His eyes were open, ocean blue and lifeless, staring endlessly into the horizon.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. I shakily reached for his hand and he stood, gently pulling me up with him. My gaze bounced between each of the six eyes on the mask and I got frustrated, wanting to make real eye contact with him. Vessel noticed my slight scowl and paused for a second before wearily pushing his hood back and unbuckling his mask, letting it fall to rest in his other palm. His long, shaggy black hair fell immediately into his eyes, blocking my line of sight to a majority of his face. I lean slightly away from him. "Are... Are you sure?..." I didn't want him to feel pressured to show me who he was, but I was dying to see the real him. "Promise you won't panic...?" That took me aback. Panic? Why? I furrowed my brows, confused. I nodded. "Yeah, why would I pa-" He tilted his head up and brushed his hair from his face. Six. There were still six. I panicked.

I twist the end of the red strings that tie around my neck. My red hood flying behind me, as if wings. I hear a loud creak and turn around quickly. The red eyes glow amongst the darkness. The air reeked of the smell of sulfur. I point my crossbow into the darkness. "Show yourself" I shout out calmly. "Oh, little miss Red, you are looking for Jenivive, aren't you? Well it's just me, her loyal servant" The voice echoes through the abandoned factory. Damn it! "Bastian, show yourself!" I yell, and hear the sound of someone running. I turn around to see Bastian in my face, no breathe flowed from his mouth. I immediately shoot, sending holy water into its core, and into its blood stream. It falls over and begins spazing out. "Go back to hell!" I yell and stab it with my blade. My red hood flew backwards, causing my black hair to be shown. My black boots stretched to my knees. My crystal blue eyes shown bright. I sat shaking in the cold, glass box I have spent most my life in. He laughed causing me to laugh again, I took a step back from the glass and into the bright light of the box, that didn't seem to make a difference to the outside. "Well, I am dressed for it and you would be helping me....how could I say no?" I asked rhetorically and I felt a brief movement from behind my see through prison. "Shall I help you learn your lesson then?" A playful tone echoed out towards me and I tilted my head, holding back a smile. I nodded, I had guessed he could see me and by the small sigh of content I had been correct. "Or I could do this?" Before my eyes had caught up to the shift in the dust particles, a man stood behind the glass, now clearly visible to me. His dark hair fell over his eyes, high cheekbones pushed his eyes into slits as he smiled at me and not a flaw on his skin. Dressed in a black suit and tie with a grey shirt, his finger reached up to the glass. He touched it for half a second and it dissolved beneath his pressure and my eyes widened in shock. "Now may I escort you to the dance."Complete
