He's the one who took them in and gave them a home, gave them a purpose, and taught them everything they know. He takes care of them, plays with them, and makes sure they stay safe during their missions. He's so much more than just their owner, and the more the pups think about it, the more they realize that Ryder is the closest thing they have to a parent in their lives. Yes, Ryder isn't just their owner... He's their dad. An AU where Ryder adopts and raises the pups as his kids rather than just his pets and all the found family shenanigans that come with it.
