It's claimed that a kittypet's life was easy. All one needed to do is sleep all day, a food and shelter provided by one's Housefolk. But Angel didn't enjoy that kind of life. She wanted to explore the forest, hunt, feel a bit of excitement, adrenaline, a bond. But all she got from the Twolegplace were ridicules and mocking from the other kittypets, judging her for preferring to drink from rain puddles instead of water bowls, play in the forest rather than nap beneath the sun, pretend to hunt rather than just eat her pellets. Not to mention the name calling. Needless to say, Angel didn't have many friends in the Twolegplace, and soon found herself wishing for another life. When it seemed opportunity presented itself, she didn't hesitate to jump at the chance, leaving everything she knew behind for an unfamiliar world. But the new life has its challenges, too. Angel was sucked into a war. Oh, and she was fooled. She was fooled into thinking the battles would be a one's basic war, with blood, injuries, and death, but it was so much more than that. A fire. Caused by twolegs. And suddenly Nightpaw's entire life as she knows it has changed. The four clans that had ruled the territories for centuries have been wiped out. Now the future for any sort of clan rests in the paws of four apprentices. They will need to find a new territory, a new place to communicate with StarClan and, most importantly, cats to form a clan with. Will they survive? This story is set many moons after the great cats during Firestar's time were around. Also, any arcs after the first arc did not happen. DISCLAIMER I do not own warrior cats (Erin Hunter does), this is just a fanfic I made based off it. However, the plot idea and the characters belong to me so don't steal them.
