Mumtaz Taj Mahal is an almost-18 year old who has been plagued by horrible scaring nightmares since the age of 5. Taj is an orphan that has been to many foster homes since she was born. She always screams during these nightmares and is always "moved out" of her foster homes after a year. She is finally going to turn 18 in two weeks and can finally get out of the foster care system and stop hurting her foster families. What happens when she is sucked into her nightmare realm on her eighteenth birthday and can't get out until she accomplishes her trials. Prince Alexander Varcolac of Pompona is 21 and has been cold and heartless since his only love died. His parents died when he was 5 and his life pretty much sucks. If he continues like this his kingdom will not last much longer and it will end. Taj is the only one that can save her nightmare realm, Pompona, by accomplishing the Nightmare Trials
