A world where nothing is a fairy tale, Gods maintain the scarce balance, Dragons flew in the skies and ruled the lands constantly warring amongst themselves. One Dragon was foretold to bring peace to this world, a saviour. As the prophecy said, he came. Yami was the most powerful dragon the world had ever seen; he came, he saw, he conquered, and he destroyed?
The prophecy did not say how he would bring peace, it didn't say many would die before peace could come, it didn't say he would rain down death and horror all in the name of peace.
Yami killed many of the Dragon Kings who rejected his ideals and the first of the Kings to fall was the Fire Dragon. He crashed in a small human village, the impact killed everyone except for a small crying baby. Moved with compassion, the King of the Fire Dragons tried to give the baby a little bit of energy so it could survive but to his surprise, the baby took it all!
The child grew up to become the first Dragon Slayer. The strength, powers, and ferocity of a Dragon all in the body of a human. Half-Dragon and Half-Human he would stand against Yami, but even he would need help.
More Dragon Slayers would arrive and revolt against Yami. They died to seal Yami away and as they fell, another prophecy was given from the heavens.
"YAMI WILL RISE AGAIN AND WHEN HE DOES, THE DRAGON SLAYERS WHO STOOD AGAINST HIM SHALL ALSO RISE AGAIN."
So, that was the story of my predecessor. This is my story, millions of years ago I was the first Dragon Slayer who stood against Yami, Salamandra! Now I'm John; Salamandra's reincarnation, a mistrusting teenager and apparently, I'm meant to save the world from an evil and all-powerful Dragon, did I mention he was all-powerful? Can I gather the other reincarnations on Earth, return to our mystical homeland, and stop Yami or will I die before my 9 am class? Who knows...?

People on social media are theorizing what is happening, some think the world is changing that it's the work of reconstruction of geography and also because of climate change, some people say it is the Underworld trying to open a path above to wreak havoc on Earth, some even say that the shaking is caused by God's way of resetting the world back again little by little. One day the place where Nathanael lives is hit with a peculiar earthquake that shook the Earth as if it's about to break apart but after the quake there were no damage and no lives were lost, after the event, countless odd things have been happening that is threatening his daily life. Fearing for his life, he cripples in despair with the chaos happening around him. Nathanael is now faced with choices and death is at every corner if he doesn't move or learn how to stand up for himself. Following his path he encounters a few people who are aware of what is really happening to the world and will not let themselves succumb to it and do a reset and instead fight to reform the world.
