Eric has been bored lately.  He used to be so full of enthusiasm for his career as a software engineer.   Lately though, he feels like his life is just one endless rerun of an old TV show.  That is until he has some trouble with a bug in a program he was working on a patch for.  The previous developer left a comment in a function that doesn't seem to be called anywhere in the code.  It contains a web link.  Curious, Eric pastes the link into his browser only to get a "page not found" error.  The next morning when Eric comes into work he finds his computer is running an entirely different operating system.  Raven OS.  Everything seems a bit disorganized and out of place.  But there's more to this Operating System than meets his spectacles.All Rights Reserved

Because of that red mark on Marvin's report card, he ended up yelling at his mother. He is depressed. He wants to avert his attention to something else and spend the night somewhere else. In spite of the foreboding thoughts due to its appearance, Marvin entered the newly opened internet cafe. At the moment that he entered the portals of that cafe, reality, and imagination seemed to scramble. Is it only inside his head? Does he only need to sleep and rest his overworked mind? Or is it just as real as the heartaches that provoked him to find that place? Or that place finding him?

"The fuck you are leaving me." He snapped and growled at his mate. She was calm as she was ever be regardless of his snapping. She sighed and turned around to leave without saying something to him because it was worthless. There was no point in talking and especially to him. He grabbed her arm before she put one step. "Where do you think you are going Ara?" He growled so loudly as everyone shuddered watching their interaction. She quickly remove his hand as anger rolling off of her in waves. "Don't. Touch. Me. I feel disgusted just by looking at you, let alone talking to you. And you said you need me? Ha. Very funny. You don't need me and I sure as hell don't need you. He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. He fits the profile of the murderer exactly, and he is smiling at you. You gulp, picking up the phone to your right dialing 911. You look back out the glass as you press the phone to your ear, and notice he is much closer to you now. You then drop the phone in shock. There are no footprints in the snow... It's his reflection. Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.

You start turning both sides, spinning it around in your hand. "Easy there." Gally chuckles. He steps closer to you, rubbing his arm up and down your back to soothe you. "You doing okay?" "Yep." You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling. When he's sure you're not too stressed out, he removes his arm from you and throws a rag over his shoulder. "Okay, stick by me. Ya hyper little bunny..."
