Hiccup is...well a Viking reject. His father is the chief of a village by the name of Berk. His only friend was his dragon...which was another he was outcasted...but the main reason he is outcasted isn't because he is a scrawny no good dragon lover...it's because he lives upon a bunch of Homophobes...and he happens to be gay.
Jack Frost a young Guardian (with a rather painful back story) is all alone all of the time if you don't count the other guardians. For you have to believe in him to see him. Then he meets Hiccup and his lonely world is not so lonely any more.
