DUA [Islamic supplication]
Assalamu alaikum, As we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan, we should remind ourselves of the importance of dua during this holy month. Allah ﷻ says in the Quran: "And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." (Quran 2:186) This verse is a beautiful reminder that Allah ﷻ is always close to us, and He hears our prayers and supplications. Ramadan is a month of increased blessings and rewards, and it is the perfect time to increase our dua and ask for forgiveness, guidance, and blessings from Allah ﷻ. This book contains Qur'anic duas for a blissful Ramadan that will help you deepen your connection with Allah ﷻ and make the most of this holy month. It Started with a Hijabi's Diary
"And they plot and plan, and ALLAH plans and ALLAH is the best of planners" (Al-Quran) "Can you tell me to whom this diary belongs?" The person gave me a bored look and I took a long breath to ease the ache in my lungs. I don't think I've ever ran this much in my life. I gave him a pleading look. "Please?! It's really important!". The person looked at me with a face void of any emotions. "Please!!" I don't think I've ever used this word for anyone except my family. I just ordered and it happened. But it didn't seem to be happening right now. I took a last glance at the person giving him a desperate look, then ran to other people. One clue, Just one!! Alteast a little hint!! I kneeled down on the road, not caring about anything and pleaded to Allah Almighty, keeping the diary close to me as it's the most precious thing in the world, the beads present in its cover poking my chest, "Please Allah! I'm sorry for all the sins I've ever done in my life. Surely, You're the most merciful. Please, find me a way to her. Let me meet her. Oh, Allah! Only You know if I don't go to her, what will happen. Please help me." I looked at the diary, its beads shining in the sunlight, and still keeping it close to my chest, I sat at the pavement looking defeated but I won't lose hope. I would not lose hope!! Then I heard heavy footsteps and then someone placed a hand on my shoulder and I turned only to feel like all the trucks of the world attacked me at once. It can't happen. "Listen to me Qurratul Ayn, before you go, I want to know; did I ever offend you? Is my love for you too little?" I can feel his hand hovering over mine. He wants to hold it, but he knows better than to do that. "Please, I don't want to do this now. My flight is in thirty minutes." I can feel the tears wetting my Niqab. "No! I want to know. Where did I go wrong? Was it money? I didn't feed you well? I didn't clothe you? My love wasn't enough for you? I need to know, all those years! You're seriously willing to throw them away like they were nothing?" A sob breaks out but I manage to hide it behind a cough. I take a silent deep breath and turn, my Niqab swaying and making a whip sound. "It's not like, they really were nothing! Look, I don't have it in me to explain myself. You said you'd give me whatever I want? Then leave me be. I never loved you okay! I never did, it was all a sham, a facade!" His hand that was looming over mine falls limp beside him and he staggers back. "You're lying." He laughs. It's as if he's trying to convince himself. I scoff. "You think so? Well take a look at this." His eyes fill with tears and he takes one of his hands and place it on his mouth. He can't believe that it's actually true. "Okay, Fa'iza." My heart breaks. He never calls me that, ever. "I know something is wrong, and wallahi I'm going to find it out and bring you back to my house in six months. I promise." I feel my heart squeeze knowing his promise can never come to pass, ever. Death is nearing me so nothing can be done. Absolutely nothing. * Ten years of loving, doting over each other and marriage, Fa'iza upped and suddenly said she wanted out of the marriage. After months of persuasion and blackmail, Bello let her go, but before she left, he made a promise. Would he be able to fulfill this promise? STARTED: COMPLETED:Complete
