He frowned at her sarcasm, "I wasn't joking."

"Wh-what?" Peach laughed in disbelief. "Do you like me or something?"

"I do." 

The spoon in her hand dropped into the bowl of hot soup in front of her, causing some of the soup to splash onto her arm.

In the future, humans have become extremely reliant on technology until a disastrous incident happened, which brought to the rise of night couriers. 

Peach is a night courier, and a damn good one. People would even say she's the best of the best. She's been around ever since the start of it, and not a single person has ever figured out her real identity. Peach eyes and peach hair, that was how anyone would describe her.

However, with a handsome yet broody rookie detective on her trail, and also a damn good one, Peach is finding it hard to keep her identity a secret, or to avoid flirting with him...or even falling in love with him.
