The year is 2500 and the world as we know it is still quite alive and thriving. It's not having much of a problem nor is it any different than it was 500 years ago but there are small changes.

First of them being that the world is now inhabited by what we call the Mysticas or mythical creatures and second, we've reverted to some olden techniques of living (just because it's better for the earth and mostly because it's way cooler). Now everyone is a magical little being with some amount of grasp on one of the elements which are earth, water, fire and air.

Howeverrrrrrrrrrr, there's this one orphan girl who keeps mostly to herself (I know, a cliché) but is actually very powerful (I know, another cliché).

Isabelle De Clare.

She's strong and she knows it, but she's never taken action to show off what she can do. She prefers to stay "human" amongst them even though life would be so much easier if she just used her powers.

She would've graduated from high school and been just fine but as fate would have it, she was invited to study at the world's top academy of magic arts, Lefiara.

How did she even get accepted? But most of all, how is she going to survive AND graduate from that high school without using her powers?

Well, let's just say shit's about to get real.

He came past her as she was isolated on the streets, parentless. He felt bad for the young girl and took her in, which was a wee while after Sophie's mother passed on, making the two young girls, five, and Agatha finally eight. But as they grew, most townsfolk called Agatha a witch, apart from them, but this made (Y/N) upset at the but them all, she wasn't outspoken as much, being a shy and introverted girl, she just wanted, her, and her friends to live in peace. Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?
