Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. Yet, she send a message to him personally to travel to her world to not only to bring order to a chaotic and destructive world, but also to guide her children to defy their Fates. A Nephilim girl of her own and the reincarnation of Sin itself. Despite this unexpected and questionable task, he still follow her order and bring his army to a new world, facing off a bioweapon demonic plague, magic tech army, superior magic and people who just wanted to see the world burn. This is the story of Defying Fate itself.

The story is about one man with a broken mind doing everything he can to try and make up for the wrong he did and find the woman he loves. This story is very intense and isn't for light reading. I think of the story like this: This isn't the story of a hero slaying a dragon and rescuing the princess. Nor is this a story about a hero who triumphs over evil and rescues the maiden in peril. This is the story of a man, who fights as much with himself, as he does the world around him. He is no hero, he is simply a man, trying to make the best he can of himself, and fix what he broke.
