"Take responsibility for your actions, Manobal." Nearly slamming her head on the wall tripping on her knees, she scratched the back of her neck nervously. "How?" As if she asked the stupidest question on this planet or if she walked out of an unpolluted location Jennie Kim raised an eyebrow that one look was enough for Lisa to get the cue. How dare you, Manobal, question me. Don't you know who I am? You're fired! Jump off my building! Don't show me your face ever again! Lisa could practically hear those words echoing in her mind. She shook her head, trying to banish the mental tirade, and cleared her throat with a timid smile. "I mean, it- it was just ...a hug. Nothing happe-" She paused as Jennie Kim's lips curled. " Pathetic excuse, disappointing isn't it, must be good for liars. " Swallowing back the questions Lisa had to blink twice to confirm her eyes weren't mistaken because the simple curl of Jennie Kim's lips twisted upward into a smile. Bad. Jennie Kim doesn't do smile. The grin spread wider. Her heart sped louder. This is so freaking bad. "Ma'am I-" "Put a ring on your actions." A what? Alas, Lisa looked at the grand glass windows. Just tell me to jump off already, woman. "You've got to be kidding me." Those were the insulting little words thrown by the petite short girl with wavy brown hair and feline eyes. If Lisa would just set aside the degrading tone she couldn't avoid hearing, she would admit that the brunette in blue floral dress was the most beautiful girl she has ever seen in her life. Minus the attitude, of course. "You set me up with a girl, Jisoo." Lisa Manoban, a College junior in Creative Writing, was set up on a blind date with a fresh High school graduate, Jennie Kim. Jennie thought she was being set up with a guy. Lisa didn't know she was set up with a straight girl. It all really started with a blind date that had gone wrong. JENLISA ADAPTATION
