Mateo was a boy known for using violence and harsh words to express himself.
Rosena was a girl known for using poetry and other forms of art, music to express herself.

Rosena wants nothing more than to be left alone to her music and writing, painting, drawing and the forest of Berne, New York is her comfort zone. Somehow Mateo finds Rosena's hiding place, and Mateo sees an opportunity to vent his anger, sadness and other emotions even if it means hurting another broken person in the process.
