Athena, Laila, and Lilly have escaped Imperium to the unknown country, and have been welcomed. But Athena knows that they have to keep a low profile and make up a new past, for the people in this country, called Canada, hate Imperium's government, and don't trust anyone who was a part of it. All of them are sent to a house in a town called Blackpool, where Laila and Athena promise each other that they'll stick together no matter what. But that's before Athena hears about what's going on back in Imperium. Athena gets a mysterious message saying that her sister, Harper, who they had to leave behind, is being tortured for information about Athena's escape. Athena can't resist going back for her sister, but doesn't know that back in Imperium, soldiers are waiting for her. Athena has to get from State 11 to State 2, without being seen. But how can Athena travel 100 miles, when the entire government has her "Wanted" poster in every sector, with a $3,000.00 reward? Not to mention the fact that she has to get into the government's HQ, find Harper, and somehow get back to Canada without getting caught. When they arrive, Poseidon tells them that he want the 2 of them to go on a question in California, to retrieve a demigod. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this!
