Pray for the Wicked: The Aftermath (COMPLETED) *UPDATED*

We all know the story. Brendon held the Devil's Key, the most mystic, most coveted item in the world. Everyone wanted it. Everyone would've kill for it. But after everything is taken away from him in seconds, he's forever cursed as a demon in the underworld. He figured it wasn't so bad. Maybe it was what he was meant to do, what he was meant to be. But that all changed soon enough. When Brendon wakes up to the woman who took the key from him dead on the floor and the Devil's Key in his possession but broken with no memory of how any of it happened, he must turn to the only person that he would have any chance of getting help from to regain his memories and figure out how to fix the key.

This is my very first short story, so we'll see how this goes 😂
Since his name was never explicitly mentioned in the Say Amen, This is Gospel or Emperor's New Clothes MVs (as it has been said in other music videos) Brendon will be referred to as either his codename "Ringmaster" by others in his line of work or simply B by his best friend a.k.a. The second character I created for only the purposes of this story or the narrator a.k.a. me.
