39 year old, Kate Miller is recovering from a divorce and trying her best to support her family. Kate has two kids ; Lena, the youngest, and McKayla, the eldest. A few years after the divorce, Kate decides to move to Italy to start again, but, on their way to the airport, something terrible happens. The children's aunt and uncle, Becky and Steven, find out what happens over the news. They go on a 5 year search for the children. One day their found, but different. Becky and Steven decide to adopt them and bring them back to society. But Becky feels there's something that still wants to tuck Lena and McKayla in at bedtime.
