The serial killer Cletus, along with his symbiote 'Red' had fallen inlove with Y/n, his childhood friend many many years ago. Kasady was disgusted by the feeling so he used Y/n because he knew love cant last and that overtime the feelings would be gone and then he would be ever so satisfied in the end.
He wants the feelings to wither away, so he played with her heart but Cletus slowly fell inlove with her truly that he started pitying her. And because of that he didn't want her to know that he's been using her. He loves her now, truly.
"Love can wither in the end, trust me. She and I will stop loving eachother and the feelings would go away, Boom!"
