En este mundo donde la esperanza es recordado como un mito y solo abunda la desgracia en cada lugar de cómo las personas tienen que vivir con el miedo, sufrimiento y la muerte, esto fue provocado por la locura de un elemento el cual cayó en la desgracia. Existen en total 10 elementos los cuales pueden controlarlo a través de la desesperación. Cada elemento tiene tres sellos los cuales serán rotos al experimentar un sentimiento malo o en pocos casos bueno, al romper el sello no sólo aumentará el poder sino también lo sumergirá en un mundo de desesperación, si éstos optan por controlarlo perderán todo el poder. Las personas se cansaron de mantener siempre la esperanza, ahora la desesperación es lo único que les queda para vivir en este mundo y al aceptarla podría ser el inicio de una nueva esperanza?

But, his greatest achievement, were tiny necklaces that were said to give the wielder full control over an element and allowed them to turn into, create, and are immune to the element that was shown on the pendant. However, there's a catch: Only the first born can wield these powerful amulets. And they're said to not exist in this world, due to the fact that he was killed before he could give them to his children. And there's the fact that these were the main target of The Hunters, a group of people who kill those who were way ahead of their time. These children must channel this power very carefully, or else it will take over them and their bodies, thus leading to the end of the world as we know it.
