The famous singer/songwriter, Elena Matthews, is forced to take a one year leave from her career when her sister's previous school shuts down. Her sister decides she wants to enrol in a public school, something she has never done before, to know what it's like to be a normal high school student. What she doesn't know is that Elena has spent the last two years of her life hiding her worst fear from her family. She has secrets no one knows about, secrets she's been hiding to keep those around her safe. However, what Elena least expects is for her two worlds to collide all because of two boys she meets at school. * * * Elena headed towards the door. She narrowed her eyes ."Are you blackmailing me?" she asked crossing her arms and raising her chin. "No, I never said that." Cole held up his hands yet grinning mischievously. "We're just saying that it would be in your best interest, along with ours if you joined us." shrugged Lucas. "You can't prove anything," she bluffed. A devious smile speared across Cole's face while Lucas grinned wickedly, "Oh, we both know you don't believe that." ------------------- The events and places are completely fictional along with the characters.
