After the war Harry wasn't the same energetic boy we knew. He was different. His eyes grew colder and his words and actions were unmotivated and emotionless. It leaves you wondering if that piece of Voldermort inside him wasn't completely snuffed out. Harry could feel his heart blackening and the madness closing in on him at all angles. He can't escape the clutches of temptation for destruction.
Draco Malfoy has lost everything. His father, the love of his mother and his pride. He can't help but bury himself in self-loathing for all the dark deeds he has done and for running from the fight instead of standing up to the madman. Draco has no one to follow and no one to love.
