So I'm writing this story based off of the orphan trains from 1854-1929. Around 1850, an epidemic started on the wast coast and billions of children lost their parents. They were put on trains, later called the orphan trains, and shipped to the Midwest to be adopted by new families, most of which farmers looking for extra labor on their farms. The orphan trains are a really tough topic. If you can just imagine being put on a train having no idea where you'll end up. My character has a pretty rough life// and I tried to write this as her journal after all these things happened. And I promise some romance towards the end, so get your shipping cap on! :)) If you are hoping for a perfect fairy-tail ending, I am not promising that, but know that I won't completely depress you, I can guarentee you this. Thank you so much everyone, even for just considering to read this. ~RL
