They weren't friends. They were just three boys who had bullied two girls for six years. They had some friend dynamic, sure, but the two sides were NEVER friends. James, Daniel, and Felix are your typical group of delinquents who get joy from bullying people, pulling pranks, vandalizing private property, and just doing anything morally wrong and illegal in general.
