Halfway through a battle with Ink and the other Judges, Error passed out. When he woke up, he didn't have the strength to open his eyes but could tell that someone was there. Not the Judges or Ink, someone else. The unknown person - or rather, people - basically kidnapped him.

He woke up some time later in an unfamiliar place, with some of his injuries healed and someone waiting for him.

Someone who knows why Error destroys and wants to help him.

In fact, five people who want to help him.

Error gains what he thought he would never have - a family.

Calling them strange would be an understatement, but Error has seen many strange things in his life.

And no matter how weird or insane his new family is, they are HIS and he is THEIRS and they would all willingly kill hundreds of people to save one of their own.

We know very little about Error's past. He couldn't have always been the Destroyer, right? Where did he come from? Was he always a glitchy mess, or was he forced into that by Fate? Will he be able to forge his own Destiny? If you want to know the answers, or at least my version, read on. This is a story of a new AU, nearly as old as Underswap and Underfell, but hidden. This is the story of Error finding a family. This is the story of Error making his own Destiny. This is the story of Error and Startale. No ships are included my current plans. That may change, but even if it does, the story will remain 100% PG, because I don't know how to write tHaT. ----⊰↺◊↻⊱---- Many thanks to @harrish6 for the idea of Fate and Destiny, as well as the concept of the Balance. (Inspired by @harrish6 book "Healing What Has Been Broken") (Previously known as I Can't Let Go...) Error is the Forced God of Destruction. Ink is the God of Creativity. Error, for as long as he can remember had been forced to annihilate AU's because of Ink's endless creative streaks. Ink doesn't seem to understand that this multiverse has a limit to the amount of AU's it can hold. Ink and his friends crave for Errors death and Error is almost passed his breaking point. So when Ink and the other AU Sanses finally push him over the edge (literally), they can finally have their peace... right? Error then finds himself possibly stuck with different versions of his old friends and enemies in a totally different Multiverse. When the time comes and with new allies by his side, will he let his old world rot, or will he be it's saving grace? But nothing is as it seems. One wrong move, one wrong kill, could be the end of both Multiverses... permanently.

Error is a god, of destruction. He doesn't like his job, but he doesn't hate it. In all of his inmortal life as one, he's come to terms of what has to be done, so all of his allies don't perish. But, as has been foretold, his life was cut short, and someone has given him a chance to be someone different. Today is a big day, "why?" You might ask, well today the biggest threat to the multiverse, to the creator the the multiverse, has been caught, Error, the destroyer of Worlds himself, was going to be judged, but how can they do that wen he can't even remember anything about himself? Well maybe one thing, an abandoned AU, a lab, a dungeon, pain, and a stack of Memory tapes, these tapes were used to store people's memories, making the person lose all memory of that event, and they were all of Error, and Core Frisk. Everything they new about Error was shattered, and What Error and Core Frisk new about themselves. So Error? 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚? Core frisk will have They/Them pronouns. A new version of Healing What Has Been Broken by @harrish6 This is a Forced God of Destruction story. What if when Error fell someone wasn't willing to let him go alone? What if the family he left behind wouldn't give up on him? What if the judges remembered they are not above judgement? Life is never simple especially when truth starts to unwind the tangles of misconceptions and the past comes to light. Can Broken Grace truly give one last painful mercy?

(Picture and characters do not belong to me, they belong to their respectful owners.) Error is the destroyer, Ink is the creator. Both Gods in their own right. They are the balance in their part of the Multiverse, making sure that neither goes to far and makes their Multiverse fall apart at the seams. If Error was able to destroy all the AU's, then there would be nothing left. The universe that they live in would just cease to exist with nothing to fill it up. That is why Ink is needed, to make sure that there is something to fill in those blank spaces, to make sure that there is life. If Ink was able to continue to create with no one to stop him or oppose him, then the AU's would collide and destroy one another. The universe would crumble and decay as they touch, as there is no more room to grow in. That is why Error is needed, to make sure that the AU's don't collide and kill one another, to make sure that there is room to grow in. Error knew this well, even with his spotty and vague memories. Ink did not. Error was broken and tired. He had nothing to live for in the end. He had no friends, no love to call his own, no family. No one wanted him around. He called for help, for anyone to save him from his own madness. But no one came. They left him in the Anti-Void, for the screams to over take him. So Error let go. He fell into the void to be scattered across time and space. No one would miss him. But he did not scatter, he traveled through time and space. Error landed in a new Multiverse. One where there was no Error. All AU's lived in balance in this universe. There was no creator who could not control himself and just create more and more. There was no destroyer who had to destroy. By the time Error's universe knew what they did wrong and the truth of the matter, their universe was falling apart and they had to get back Error to do his job. But they hit a big roadblock when they finally found Error. This universe would not let Error go without a fight.

(REWRITE OF THIS BOOK IS UP! It is called "Obsessive Love".) (I do not own the cover, Undertale nor any of the characters besides my OC's, they belong to their respectful owner. For some reason, I just see Error in the front instead of passive Nightmare.) Error, Forced God of Destruction and Destroyer of Universes was largely unknown unlike Ink, the Creator and God of Creation. Their fights were unseen by the AU's, none of the Monsters knowing about the Destroyer as Ink doesn't want them scared and Error gave no shits if anyone knew him or not. But Error's job is a complicated one, one that he is forced into, and he has to get involved to destroy the worlds. He doesn't touch the Original AU's, but the copies that Ink makes have to go. It was only a matter of time before something happened. Ink, in a middle of one of their fights, blinded Error, hurting him much more badly then ever before. In panic, Error ported into one of the Original AU's. Ink, fearing what Error would do, tells Dream about the Destroyer. Now the hunt is on for the broken, blinded skeleton. Meanwhile a blinded Error has been taken under the wing of another powerful Monster who has fallen for the broken Destroyer at first sight. But sweet love is truly beyond him. It is a obsessive love, a unhealthy love unlike any other. Nightmare would do anything for Error, and would do anything to keep him by his side as he goes about taking over all the AU's. Now to convince Error that he should be his and his alone.

After falling into the void, Error lands in a different multiverse. He saves two little babybones from the clutches of Gaster, and meets the protector of this multiverse. But, it doesn't go well. He freaks out and throws himself into the void once again, the children following behind him. It is then Destiney realizes that the multiverse was too similiar, with too many familiar abusers. But where could she send him? A minigod talks to her about multiverses in need of rescuing. She agrees to help her out, sending Error to them, the inhabitants all becoming very protective of Error. Error's old universe, after learning that they needed him but not why, travel to the universe he was in at the time to capture him. But, with how many friends he has made, they might want to reconsider their decision. For Error was hurt just as a lot of them was, and they will protect him with everything they have. I'm not sure if this description was that good, I suck at descriptions. This is based off Harris6's Falling Into A Different Destiny and their concept of Forced Destroyer. Please, if you haven't seen any of their books do go check them out. It is definitely worth it. I do not own anything except for the OC's I include and if I add a certain world to this. Undertale belongs to Toby Fox. Please be aware that this book will get dark and have many trigger warnings. The art does not belong to me, it belongs to it's original creator
