‘The city never felt like home, no matter how much I wanted it to. The people were always in a hurry, even when they had no place to go. Noise was constant and there was always something new to be occupied with. I wanted to feel at home, to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city, but no matter how hard I tried, the city was always foreign to me.’

Daniella Hurst, or Dani for short, has never felt peace while living with her rich mother in New York City. After graduating High School, Dani jumps at the chance to move to Arkansas to get away from her mothers’ high standards and expectations of Dani to attend Julliard.

With her brand new house in the country and job at a small book store, Dani finds herself loving her new town and quickly feels a connection to her co-worker Caleb. He seems perfect for her - but what is he hiding?

Caleb Knight is the Alpha of the Rolling Thunder Pack, one of the largest packs in the United States. Caleb has been waiting for his mate for years, and he finally finds her... except she's human. A werewolf having a human as a mate is rare, especially since Caleb is an alpha. Nevertheless, Dani is his mate and he is determined not to lose her.
