The year is 1062. as the throne of Sweden has been taken by king Stenkil. By now most of Scandinavia has become Christian, but few more chieftains and earls are resisting and keeping to their roots. Earl Erik of house of Munsö, a house founded by the famous Viking Björn Ironside, is one of the last believers in Odin and the old gods.
Join his journey as he faces dilemmas of religion and loyalty in a struggle of war and intrigue, all while trying his best to set his name in the books of history, rise through the ranks of Sweden and preserve the faith of his ancestors. See him meet with the Norse dynasties of old and witness the great battles of the time to secure the name of his family in the struggle for power throughout the North.

A Viking DenNor/SuFin Fanfiction, the fanfiction is a little bit inspired by a song. You have 3 main Viking tribes, The Bondevik tribe which is based on magic, but you also have the Køhler and Oxenstierna tribe, they are based on the strength of their men. The Køhler and the Bondevik tribe have an alliance which meant that the two soon to be tribe leaders are very close. Not far from the other two tribes is the Oxenstierna tribe. Berwald is the new leader of this tribe after his father became too old. The Oxenstierna tribe and the Køhler tribe have been enemies for as long as most can remember. Berwald's first plan is to drive Matthias [Denmark] and Lukas [Norway] away from each other so he can form an alliance with the Bondevik tribe and destroy the Køhler tribe.
