I used to be a writer. I used to write the words that came to my head, the words that filled my brain with stories and different realities. I don't write anymore, my reality took that away from me. I used to be a writer, just like how we were once extraordinary. It is funny isn't it, how three can become two, and how two can go so far apart that they become nothing. We were once three, we were once together, we were once friends. We were once extraordinary. I promised to never write again, but I promise this will be the last story I tell. The story of how We Were Once Extraordinary.

Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...
