Emily was used to living in the shadow of her twin. Being second best, second prettiest, was something she learned to live with. She eventually took shelter in that shadow, telling herself she was comfortable with it.
But all that changed when Emily was almost 17 and her sister was almost 17 except Emily did become 17 and her sister didn't.
Emily hasn't been home in 3 years, but, with the push of a new friend, she's stepping back into the town and life she thought she'd left behind. Now, Emily's ready to move on. But how can she move on when she doesn't even know who she is without Lizzy? Enter Zayn Malik, leather jackets, tattoos, cookies, and a stuffed elephant that makes Emily feel more than she's allowed herself to for 21 years.
