"Marina, I know you're new to all of this, but a word of advice?" I watched hesitantly as Jason walked around the pool table in an effort to make his way over to me. Once he had, his arm snaked around my waist and pulled me into him. "Summer flings--with me anyway--have the tendency to get a bit. . ." He stopped so he could think of a word to use, "Messy." When he said that, something in his eyes went off, and I couldn't tell if it was amusement, or something a bit more dangerous. Either way, once I saw it, I knew that I had no intention of leaving.

Without pulling away from him, I leaned in, refusing to show any trace of fear, and spoke. "I have no problem with getting a little dirty, Jason."
