O Negative
Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
Death's Duty
(18+) *Complete/Unedited* ---- "You are death." I heard the grin in his tone. "Death's duty is to take care of the already departed. Newly deceased, and previously deceased alike." ***** Morrigan Wraith lives a double life; one not many would think to question. While on the outside she looks like a normal human detective, underneath all of that lies a grim reaper. Reapers were created at the beginning of time, formed to be unemotional and detached as a soul's transport to either Heaven or Hell. But Morrigan is unlike the rest. She was created with a defective heart - one that felt emotion, and one that got her into more trouble than she ever imagined. (18+ for language, violence, and sexual situations)Complete
